Conservation of the “model village” buildings, once part of the Duke of Bedford’s estate is central to the village’s appeal.

Thorney is by-passed by the A47 and so very little traffic comes through the village.
With many trees and open green space, Thorney is a quiet village with unique charm.

Thorney is surrounded by open countryside, with footpaths to ramble and tiny roads ideal for cycling.
